Keep Britain Tidy joins forces with wilko

Keep Britain Tidy and Wilko have signed a partnership deal which sees proceeds from the sale of Wilko’s carrier bags go towards supporting work to tackle environmental and social issues.

Supported by Wilko and their customers, Keep Britain Tidy will be delivering three transformational projects in Blackpool, Leicester and Exeter helping to create clean and green community spaces and supporting the next generation so they can make a real difference to the environment within their school and take that learning home to their families.

Wilko are also on ongoing supporter of the Great British Spring clean, supporting the campaign in 2018 & 2019, they have again signed-up to the 2020 campaign as headline sponsor.

Campaign highlights 2019:

  • 563,163 volunteers
  • 17,097 clean-ups
  • 175,055 school pupils took part
  • 957,377 bags of litter collected equating to 4,308 tonnes
